Dusseldorf is located at the meeting of the Düssel and Rhine Rivers, boasting a strong economic and cultural grounding, it really is a dynamic city. There you can drink the “Altbier” which is a dark beer served in little glasses and is available at all restaurants in the city.
Immediately south of downtown Dusseldorf are some the most important museums and galleries in Europe. K20 is famous for its pieces by Klee, Picasso and Dalí. K21 is the city’s newest modern art museum, containing works by Nam June Paik and Bill Viola.
